I have lost at least 10 lb so far. I don’t have a scale at home, so I don’t watch my weight fluctuations. I love what I see in the mirror though more and more each day. I get compliments from friends, colleagues, random people at work, and from my husband. I even inspired a co-worker to start running in the mornings although I don’t run myself :)
I’ve stopped obsessing over my weight. I work out for the feeling of empowerment and energy I get when I exercise and I eat better for the feeling of lightness and satisfaction I get from it. I realized that although it is very likely I will continue getting smaller in size, I am totally ok and happy to be the size I am right now. It is a great feeling!
