For a long time now, I have wanted to lose weight. Most of my adult life, actually. With the exception of a few years in my 20?s, I have never been happy with the way I look; I always felt a little pudgy, “big-boned” and larger than my friends. I am still a work in progress, but I can finally say that progress is being made! Because the approach I am now taking, and what I am learning from Sheila, is that everything has to come from a place of love. Love for your body and what it can do, love for what you look like right here and now, and love for yourself as a whole.
I want to live a balanced, full life and I want to do these things because they make me feel good about myself and that is what Sheila is teaching me. That I can be happy with who I am, right now, while still striving to be better. And I can honestly say that when I approach health and fitness this way, from a place of self-acceptance and love, the weight really does come off.
Sheila has helped me to feel like the best version of myself…and for that I am eternally grateful.
